| Alright, I've been reading some things girls have been discussing about if should guys be allowed to join our site. I want to put this now, just in case I'm not on the next couple days. I'll leave it up for a week so more girls can vote on this topic. So, hopefully in a week we can have this decided. | |

| Aww, as much as Bry is liked here, this is a subject we can't be wishy-washy on.
Edit: Oh yeah, I forgot to explain. I think that making exceptions for one or two guys would still ruin the point on having an "all-girls" website/clan.

| I believe that boys should be aloud to join the site, but not be aloud to participate in our clan wars. Having boys join the site may give us a better opportunity to maybe practicing brawling more when most of the girls are out busy.
Having boys wouldn't be such a bad thing either, unless they're just here to chat with girls and stuff, then I would say no. But maybe some of them would like to learn a thing or two from QOB brawlers, which I know QOB does have good brawlers who give out very good tips for brawling.
This is the perfect opportunity to promote the site. If we aren't going to allow both genders into the site then how will we ever get more members to join? I'm just saying, progression might be slow in the future.
I don't think that allowing boys into the site will ruin QOB's image one bit, as long as they don't enter in the clan wars with us. QOB should be a friendly site for anyone willing to brawl, but when it comes down to business it should be an all girl member thing. |

| True, but some girls might want to post things that they wouldn't want boys to see or would make boys uncomfortable, like threads about periods, to give an extreme example. lol | |

Well, that really depends on the maturity level. There are boys who are to be more mature than other boys. (Age doesn't matter either) I know a lot of them who actually can talk about these things. If they're uncomfortable about topics such as "Periods" then I'm guessing they would avoid such topics. I highly doubt any of the boys Ashlee or any of the other girls invite in would make things awkward though. As for girls, if you want to post a topic such as "Periods" up, then do it! Just because there's a boy around doesn't mean you should hold back from whatever you want to post up. They're gonna know about it sooner or later. |

| the guys can talk to us in the portal, thats an easy way to access the active girls of this site. i would be fine with guys made members that dont participate in our meetings and wars and such but they are not 'members' just visitors which vistors can see some of the site. maybe make an advice thread for them to ask us things that visitors can see without them being members. i think the portal and visitors section of the forums is enough for the guys youre mentioning misty. they dont need to be made official members when they wouldnt be. as for promotion we have 45 active ppl and 100 in all, i dont think promotion is an issue. like i said i dont mind them in the portal, genosamus and chris kevin whatever whoever wants to be there, but they arent supposed to be members and shouldnt no matter how cool they are. so.. in short... no haha | |

| Well I can deal with them interacting with us, that's not really a problem. But actually becoming a member and referring to themselves as "Queens" on an all girls site is a bit over the top for me.
Especially if you run into the certain type of guys that just want to join a place full of girls, because its well...full of girls...
What I can say is that the guys that are here luckily aren't like that. But there's always a chance one could slip through. There are plenty of them online.
Which could lead to another question: What's stopping them from just joining as a girl in the first place? There would be almost no way to tell.
I'll stop my rambling...

| well, if they joined as a girl, thats a whole nother can of worms haha, i guess if no one knew it wouldnt hurt anyone, ignorance is bliss. BUT i think we all might get suspicious if they started hitting on us or whatever lol. i mean what on earth could they gain from sneaking in? if they want in that bad theres nothing we can do. people rob banks, everyone tries to stop it. lets not worry about being absolute, just keeping out the obvious. | |

| That sounds like a good idea Brenda. Because I know my parents probably check sites I've been to, and I know they have gone through them also. If they saw anything innapropriate, I would be excommunicated from all of you. (they would block the site.) I don't want that to happen. | |

| I agree with almost everything everyone said here, especially Jewlecho and MoonScar. I don't really understand why a guy would want to come here and want to be called a "Queen". There are plenty of other Smash Bros. sites for them, and they are much bigger. The whole point of this site was to have girls come together to show boys what we've got, and allowing even a few boys defeats the purpose. | |

The only problem with that is it would be even more unfair to let ten guys in and then close our doors. It should either be guys or no guys. (With the exception of the guys Ashlee brings in to help out the clan, like Dark Pch. They're welcome in the portal, and I think that's enough.

| lol yah, the reason those other clans are open to anyone is because they dont care if they have girls or not. guys are the majority of the gaming population lol, they dont need their own support group, they ARE the group. we are the minority. thats why its politically ok to have black groups and asian groups, but throw in a white group?? oh hecks no lol, RACISM! but really white people dont need a group, they ARE the groups. thats why there is a black history month, because every other month is white history mwhahahhahahaa....... i hope you see the connection im making. maybe my analogies only make sense to me haha | |

| I'm relative new and I think I am completely biased because one of these new male members happens to be my brother. I wasn't exactly expecting him to join but that goes aside. - Mystiquely_jux_Misty wrote:

(. . .) I don't think that allowing boys into the site will ruin QOB's image one bit, as long as they don't enter in the clan wars with us. QOB should be a friendly site for anyone willing to brawl, but when it comes down to business it should be an all girl member thing. This is basically my point on this. If having boys in the forums themselves bother you, limit their access to only some sections. I think limit them to the chat box of the portal is a bit too extreme as well as not allow any guy in. For example, leave the blog out of their reach, if you rather share emotional and touchy subjects only with the clan. I also think that guys should be "Fans of the Queens" or something like that to be separated from the 'girls core of QoB'. I dunno, I might even fit there too, as I can't be in clans wars at the moment. That could also help when voting for alliances and stuff, only the core members that are actually having the direct consequences in battle of the decisions should be the ones taking it. - Kirby wrote:

I don't get very well what does this have to do, as human beings boys and girls can harm the same and I am sure if a girl were to be rude, or inappropriate topics they would have trouble as well. i don't really think this helps any better against guys being here.
Sorry if this is much talk for such a rookie member.

| well put new girl, but i wouldnt change any of my opinion. like i said and misty agreed and you mentioned. guys can have portal and a few things they can see on the forums without being a member. thats all they need. i like the idea of having our clan have fans though thats a unique suggestion. | |
