StoryLine
Remember the game from Nintendo, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess? I'm sure you have, any gamer out there would know of it. Any part played in the game was fantastic, but probably the best new addition added to the game was transforming into a wolf to save Hyrule. However, the whole game was not set around Link's wolf form. Anybody in the world would love a game played only as an animal, or maybe perhaps a wolf itself. Okami, a game for both PS2 and the Wii, brings out that dream in a beautiful and amazing way.

You begin your journey as the last hope to save Nippon from the dreaded and powerful Yamata no Orochi, an evil 8-headed and 8-tailed Dragon. Played as the Sun Goddess Amaterasu, who takes the shape of a white wolf, players must battle their way through lands of Japan defeating Orochi's minions, demons and other japanese mythology creatures. Through out your journey, players will discover that not only is Nippon being corrupted by Orochi's evil... so is it's Mother Nature. With the help of the wandering artist Issun, who holds the power of the celestial paintbrush to help Amaterasu, the graceful Sun Goddess thrives through vast landscapes destroying the evil corrupted in their home.

GamePlay
Fighting against powerful demons, Amaterasu cannot defeat them with merly her sharp claws and fangs. The Celestial Paintbrush provided by the 13 lost Celestial Maidens and held by Issun give players a taste of Japanese art by drawing on the screen. The (Wii) game allows players to do this with the Wii Remote by simply moving onto screen and painting your way to victory! The only problem I had with the Wii version was sometimes when I drew the brush technique, it wouldn't do anything. This happened rarely though and it hardly ever gave me a problem. The Controls for Okami are pretty basic and easy as well. Fast input made attacking quicker and more useful.

Music
The Music for Okami is probably the best Soundtrack to a game I've ever heard. MASAMI UEDA composes the music to the game and is highly ranked after his debut in Okami. The epic battle suquences offer an amazing and stretched use of beautiful instruments too. The Ending Song by Ayaka Hirahara is a fantastic way to end the game with her bright and talented voice.
